Tezpur University Admission 2021, In addition to an earlier notification, issued vide No. F.11-3 /5 /2003 (Academic) Dated the 5th July 2021(05-07-2021), online applications are invited from eligible and aspiring young candidates for Tezu admission 2021 to the following various programs/courses of study for the academic year 2021-22.

1. 8-semesters Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. (Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics)

2. 10- semesters Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Life Science/Mathematics (with a provision of lateral exit

after successful completion of 6th semester with B.Sc. degree/graduation)

3. 10-semesters Integrated M.A.(Master of Arts) in English

4. 10-semesters Integrated M. Com degree (Master of Commerce) (with a provision of lateral/sideways exit after successful completion of 6th semester with B.Com. degree)

5. 4-semesters M.A. in Linguistics & Language Technology/English/Hindi/Communication for Development/ Sociology/Cultural Studies /Mass Communication & Journalism/Social Work/Education and Assamese.

6. 4-semesters M. Sc. In Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics/Environmental Science

7. 4- semesters MCA(Master of Computer Application)

Entrance Exam Date:

In the previous year for tezu admission 2021, No Entrance Exam Test was held in any PG courses for both the University Dept and Affiliated colleges of the University for the 2020-2021 session. Admissions were based totally strictly on the overall performance and eligibility standards of the respective qualifying examination.

Eligibility of Tezpur University Admission 2021 All Courses:

1. Ph.D. Programs: All Candidates will be selected based on their

(i) Performance in the qualifying examination and past academic performance,

(ii) SOP (Statement of Purpose), embedded with a set of different questions, and

(iii) Personal Interview (PI) on Internet/online mode. However, candidates with UGC- (NET/JRF)/UGC-CSIR (NET/JRF)/ICAR-NET/GATE/ SLET //DBT-JRF/ICMRJRF/ M. Phil. will be required to appear in Personal Interview only.

2. M.Tech. Programs:
(a) Non-GATE Candidates- Students/Candidates will be selected based on their

(i) Personal Interview(PI)

(ii) Academic performance(previous exam performance) in qualifying examinations, and

(iii) other performances (such as research experience, research publication, and past academic performance).

(b) GATE Candidates- Candidates will be selected based on valid GATE scores in the eligible disciplines. The detailed seat matrix for GATE and Non-GATE candidates is available in the Prospectus.

3. M.A./M.Sc.*/Other PG Programmes (MCA, LLM, MTTM, MSW, and M. Com): All Students/Candidates will be selected based on the
(i) Personal Interview,

(ii) academic performance in qualifying examinations and

(iii) Marks from 10+2 Board Examinations. (In case the final examination is not complete, previous semesters’ mark sheets must be submitted. However, Students/candidates should clear all Under Graduate subjects up to the pre-final semester in case of a semester-based system in case of the year-based system).

* There shall be no PI (Personal Interview) for M.Sc. in Mathematics major. Admission to M.Sc. in MBBT will be based on a valid GAT-B score for Tezpur University Admission.

4. Integrated Programmes: Students/Candidates will be selected based on their

(i) academic performance in 10+2 and

(ii) class 10 Board Examinations.

5. B.Tech. : All Students/Candidates will be selected for admission to B. Tech. degree based on All India Rank (CRL) of JEE (Main) conducted by the NTA. In B.tech Counseling and Admission will be done against NE quota as well as for All India open seats through BSSC (B.Tech. Screening and Selection Committee) of the University and CSAB, respectively. Candidates for admission to the B.Tech[Bachelor in Technology]. (lateral entry) programs will be selected based on their

(1) Personal Interview and

(2) Academic Performance.

6. B.Ed.: All Students/Candidates will be selected based on the

(i) Personal Interview,

(ii) academic performance in qualifying examinations and
(iii) Marks from 10+2 Board Examinations.

7. PG Diploma and Certificate Programmes: All Students/Candidates will be selected based on their

(i) academic performance in qualifying examinations and

(ii) past academic performance. (In case the final examination is not complete, the mark sheet of the pre-final examination must be submitted.)

Reservation and relaxation: As per Govt. of India Rules.

Application Fees: Rs. 800/- per candidate (Rs. 400/- for ST, SC, and PWD candidates).
