1. Assistant Teacher (Lower Primary):
At least 50% marks in HS (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and two years Diploma in Elementary Education from identified institutes.
OR
At least 45 percent marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and two years Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
OR
At least 50% marks in HS (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and four years B.El.Ed.
OR
At least 50% marks in HS (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation from UGC identified University with Assam LP- TET and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever title known) from identified institutes.
OR
Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC identified University with LP- TET and B.Ed. from identified institutes/University.
2. Assistant Teacher (Upper Primary:Social Science):
Graduation from UGC identified University with Assam UP- TET and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever title known) from identified institutes.
OR
Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC identified University with Assam UP- TET and B.Ed. from identified institutes/University.
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks from UGC diagnosed University with Assam UP- TET and 1 yr B.Ed. from identified institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC identified University with Assam UP- TET and 1 yr Bachelor in Education (Special Education) from identified institutes/University.
3. Assistant Teacher (Upper Primary: Mathematics & Science):
B.Sc. from UGC identified University with Assam UP- TET and two years D. El. Ed. (by whatever title known) from identified institutes.
OR
B.Sc. or M.Sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC identified University with Assam UP- TET and B.Ed. from identified institutes/University.
OR
B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from UGC diagnosed University with Assam UP- TET and 1 yr B.Ed. from identified University in accordance with the NCTE , Regulations issued from time of time in this regard.
OR
B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC identified University with Assam UP- TET and 1 yr B. Ed. (Special Education) from identified institutes/University.
