Commercial Pilot License (Short Service): For this Commercial Pilot License (Short Service) Entry post as an officer, candidates must have to be 19-25 years old and here also available the age relaxation as per the govt rules. As per the official website of the education qualification for this post, the candidates should have passed 12th/HS/Higher Secondary or equivalent qualification and have a commercial pilot license which is issued by the govt authority like Director-General. For this Commercial Pilot License (Short Service) post only male candidates can apply and for the female, they recruiting separately.

  • Height – minimum 162.5 cms.

6. Technical Entry: For this Technical Entry post as an officer, candidates must have to be 21-25 years old and here also available the age relaxation as per the govt rules. As per the official website the education qualification for this post, the candidates should have passed 12th/HS/Higher Secondary or 3 years diploma and engineering degree which is recognized by AICTE. Those engineering degrees are-

  • Engineering Branch. Mechanical or Naval architecture or Marine or Mechatronics or Automotive or Metallurgy or Industrial and Production or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace.
  • Electrical Branch. Telecommunication or Electrical or Electronics or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Electronics or Power Engineering.

 

For this Technical Entry post, only male candidates can apply. This post medical standard test will be like this –

  • Height- minimum 157 cms.
  •  Weight – if the weight is proportionate to the height and weight + 10% then acceptable.
  • Chest – minimum 5 cms expansion.
  • EyeSight – 6/36 6/36 – Uncorrected without glass or spectacles. 6/6 6/6 – Corrected with glass or spectacles.

 

7. Law entry: For this Law entry post as an officer, candidates must have to be 21-30years old and here also available the age relaxation as per the govt rules. As per the official website of the education qualification for this post, the candidates should have a LAW degree from any govt recognized university. For this Law entry post, both male and female candidates can apply.

 

This post medical standard test will be like this –

  • (a) Height (aa) Male – minimum 157 cms..(ab) Female- minimum 152 cms.

  • Weight proportionate to Height and age. 
  • Eyesight 6/24 without glasses or spectacles and 6/9 & 6/12 with glass or spectacles for good eye and worse eye respectively.

 

2. NAVIK (General Duty): For this NAVIK (General Duty) post as a sailor, candidates must have to be 18-22 years old and here also available the age relaxation as per the govt rules. As per the official website of the education qualification for this post, the candidates should have to pass 12th/Higher Secondary Class with Mathematics and Physics from any Central or State Govt recognized education Board. For this NAVIK (General Duty) post as a sailor, only male candidates can apply. 

 

This post medical standard test will be like this –

  • Height 157 cms
  • Weight proportionate to Height and age
  • Eyesight 6/6 (Better Eye) and 6/9 (Worst eye) (with or without glass).

 

3. NAVIK (Domestic Branch): For this NAVIK (Domestic Branch) post as a sailor, candidates must have to be 18-22 years old and here also available the age relaxation as per the govt rules. As per the official website of the education qualification for this post, the candidates should have to pass 10th class from any Central or State Govt recognized education Board. For this NAVIK (Domestic Branch) post as a sailor, only male candidates can apply.

In the Indian Coast Guard, they have different pay structures or salaries according to their rank and entry. Selection Process of Indian Coast Guard:

In ICG, there are different ways to select. In officer entry the selected candidate through written test, medical test, and personnel interview(sometimes).
