(a) Senior Secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and two years D. El. Ed course(Diploma in Elementary Education)

Senior Secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks and two years D. El. Ed course(Diploma in Elementary Education), in accordance with the NCTE

Senior Secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and four years B.El.Ed. course (Bachelor of Elementary Education)
Or
Senior Secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and a two-years Diploma in Education (Special Education).

UP Schools:
1. Assistant Teacher (UPS) Assistant Teacher Graduate from UGC recognized Institute/University and two years of D. El. Ed. course (Diploma in Elementary Education)/B.Ed./D.Ed. (Special Education)/B.Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam / BTC TET for UPS Conducted by #Elementary Education Dept. (Assam)
2. Science Teacher (UPS)
B.Sc. from the UGC recognized Institute/University and two years of D. El. Ed. course (Diploma in Elementary Education)/B.Ed./D.Ed (Special Education)/B.Ed. (Special Education) and passed Assam TET / BTC TET for UPS (Science and Mathematics) conducted by #Elementary Education Dept. (Assam)
