Now MCA Course Duration is 2(Two) Years
MCA Course/Program is 2 Years From 3 Years: AICTE_News 2020-2021
The Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme will now be a 2(Two) year course. From the coming academic year, MCA programme will be taught as per the new course duration. Generally MCA is a three year course after graduation.All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has shared this information along with an official notice on its official twitter handle.
As per the notification, students who have passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree or passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 degree or at graduation stage (with extra bridge courses as per the norms of the involved University) acquired at least 55% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination are eligible to practice for the MCA course.The AICTE introduced it on the official twitter handle.
